We are currently carrying out the complete refurbishment of the mechanical and electrical services at Ipswich Museum with our client Gipping Construction. This is an important heritage project for the region and is going well as we advance through each phase.
As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting careers in construction we were delighted to support our client with a work experience initiative on site. Will, a Year 10 student from Northgate High School in Ipswich joined us for the week to explore what life is like in the world of building services. His enthusiasm for the sector stood out from the outset, and our site team was more than happy to welcome him and share their knowledge. Will made the most of his experience, shadowing our staff and immersing himself in the day-to-day of a live heritage project. At the end of the week he said, ‘I’ve had a brilliant week with you and really enjoyed working at Ipswich Museum’. We loved having you there Will, thanks for your hard work and we wish you the very best for what’s ahead!
