Following a lengthy process of cost planning, site visits, assessing enabling works, tendering in competition, value engineering and negotiations we recently secured the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Thurrock with Morgan Sindall. This part refurbishment and part new build project in the middle of Thurrock Hospital is one of several CDC schemes being rolled out across the country as part of a national initiative to support faster diagnosis and access to tests and scans closer to home. The centre will provide a CT Scanner, X-ray, blood tests labs, ultrasound, MRI scans and heart and lung diagnostic analysis, all on one floor.
