So much talent in our team who performed admirably at Ingleton Wood’s charity football tournament. 16 teams from across the construction sector in the Essex and the wider Eastern region participated, all united in support of St Elizabeth Hospice.
Played in the searing heat, our skills were sublime at times (in our opinion). Decked out in retro 90’s kit, reminiscent of the iconic Italia ‘90 era, two hard-fought wins and a narrow loss were not quite enough to propel us into the later stages. If only our recognised keeper had not been on the school run during the early matches!
While the outcome was not in our favour, the pizza and drinks were sweet consolation after being knocked out!
