Our work at Stradbroke swimming pool for Mid Suffolk and Babergh District Council (MSBDC) involved removing over 100 electrical ways from an old switch panel that had suffered from water ingress, moving to a new location and installing into a new switch panel. Our scope included firstly installing Tri rated 180mm2 single cables from the new 800 amp main switch to the new MCCB panel and distribution boards. During the next phase we worked alongside UKPN to create a GRP enclosure and pad for the new 800 amp feeds from the local transformer to the new cut outs and metering, all whilst the pool amenities remained open for use.
