Sparrows Farm

We have continued our relationship with Mulalley by completing the refurbishment of the Sparrows Farm building at the Avery Hill Campus, Greenwich University.

The former student bar was converted into a new strength and conditioning laboratory, music teaching space and a paramedic training facility.

The paramedic training facility enables student paramedics and nurses to take part in a range of simulation scenarios which are designed to replicate real life conditions. There is also equipment and an observation room in which live scenarios can be driven through the new AV system.

The laboratory is equipped with the latest technology for strength and conditioning training. The facilities are used for a mix of teaching and research, allowing academics and students the opportunity to refine programmes to ensure maximum efficiency.

The electrical installation comprised of a new structured cabling network, the AV first fix infrastructure, a fire alarm system, new LED lighting throughout and a Smartscan lighting control scheme.

The mechanical package provided new electric water heaters, domestic hot and cold-water services, a gas fired system boiler, mechanical ventilation heat recovery units and an integrated automatic controls system.
