Prolog House

Our Special Projects team was selected by Reason Construction to act as Principal Contractor on the complete refurbishment of Prolog House in Suffolk.

The work involved the internal and external renovation of this 1960’s two storey office block for lease holder Prolog, who is the main agent for printing British Airways tickets and advertising. The refurbishment was undertaken to a high specification and to a design that aligned with their corporate profile.

Prior to commencing the main work, a survey revealed that the building was heavily contaminated with asbestos. This had to be dealt with in advance to make the building safe prior to the strip out package being carried out.

The next phase comprised a new electrical and plumbing installation, air conditioning, data, fire alarm, lighting, welfare facilities, new kitchens along with suspended ceilings, floor coverings, decorations and window blinds.

The external grounds were block paved and a new disabled access was created to the front elevation. The project was completed within 5 months.
