LINAC Accelerator, Norfolk & Norwich Hospital
This project involved the expansion of world class radiotherapy facilities at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.
The new build extension houses 2 linear accelerators within a reinforced concrete bunker, as well as an orthovoltage treatment room, consulting rooms, offices, waiting areas and a helipad.
Services included specialist cooling plant to the LINAC machines, heat recovery ventilation, medical gases, LED lighting, power, fire alarms, CCTV and access control.
A BMS system incorporates opening roof lights and the combined smoke fire dampers as well as the mechanical plant.
