As part of our long-standing relationship with CBRE based at BT, Adastral Park in Suffolk, we have been assisting the research and development teams on the site with the installation and setting up of test beds for the next generation of mobile data masts and electric vehicle charging points utilising redundant telecommunication points, with the aim to allow charging of vehicles in busy terraced inner-city streets.

For these projects we were required to provide traffic management plans while working on the park’s roads with MEWP to install the masts to streetlights.  With our groundworks team, we installed power and signal ducting along with the plinths and communication boxes to replicate a standard inner-city street setup to allow the R&D teams to carry out their test setups.
