We completed a project for Braiswick Primary School in Essex to adapt their nurture room and accommodate a new quiet SEN room. Our scope included the construction of a new partition wall and door with additional high level handles on both the new door and existing corridor door, complete with full decoration. We also carried out an adaption to the ventilation system from the existing MVHR unit to ensure correct air flows for the newly formed room as well as new heating and lighting with local controls.

As part of our management strategy in our Principal Contractor role, we produced a Construction Phase Plan to manage all health and safety aspects including the protection of existing spaces. We also created a detailed work sequence programme to coordinate with client activities and to ensure the project was completed in a short timescale during a half term holiday shutdown with minimal disruption.
