Our work at Limebrook Way in Maldon, Essex has been completed, earning the Morgan Sindall accolade of Perfect Delivery. The new primary school and nursery serve over 450 children, addressing the growing demand for education places within the Limebrook Way development in Maldon. The modern facilities are part of the South Maldon Garden Suburb development, which has received planning permission for up to 1,000 homes as well as retail areas, green spaces, allotments, and sports fields.
Morgan Sindall delivered the scheme under their Essex County Council (ECC) framework. Deploying its Intelligent Solutions approach, the project team collaboratively closely with ECC and M+E designer Ingleton Wood to shape the school’s advanced net zero carbon operating design, which included the entire construction site being diesel free. This environmentally conscious approach has been encapsulated in a Sustainability Charter, with construction methods and materials selected to minimise the school’s emissions.
