The project is gathering momentum, with the building’s transformation becoming increasingly visible across all the mechanical and electrical services as we advanced our second fix installations and prepare for testing and commissioning. The LED laylights integrated within the Main Gallery ceiling panels have now been fitted and tested. Now that the scaffolding has been removed, the lights create a bright and visually striking feature that showcases the scale and character of the gallery. Despite the complexity and heritage sensitivities of the development, the team continues to overcome each issue as they arise in partnership with main contractor Gipping and the design team.
