Engineering Services for Buildings

Great to welcome the next generation of construction talent

We recently welcomed three groups of Level 1 Services students from Harlow College to our Harlowbury School project, giving them a valuable insight into the building services and wider construction industry.

Working in collaboration with Morgan Sindall, students joined a site tour to see the build stages of this 2FE primary and early years new build scheme, followed by a short presentation on career pathways, future career opportunities, and an overview of the attributes we look for when recruiting apprentices and management trainees.

The visit also included a hands-on session, where students practiced second-fixing a socket and bending galvanised conduit – an ideal opportunity to experience the practical side of the trade.

A big thank you to Helen Clements @ Morgan Sindall for organising. Supporting and inspiring future talent is vital to our industry, and we’re happy to play our part.

We are looking for the next generation of craft persons, engineers, estimators, designers and quantity surveyors. If you are eager to embark on a career in an industry that truly makes a difference—improving the spaces where we all work, live, learn, and play please consider applying for our trade apprenticeship or management trainee programmes. We have positions available at our Ipswich and Dartford offices and associated sites. You can get in touch by sending your CV and cover letter/email to services@bowerfuller.co.uk, marked for the attention of Nicky Berry.
