This month marked the end of an era as we bid a fond farewell to Elaine Pearson, who retired after an incredible 26 years with Bower Fuller.
Affectionately known to many as “Auntie,” Elaine joined us back in 1999 – the year Manchester United won the treble and Tony Blair was Prime Minister. She consistently offered encouragement, genuine warmth, and a steady presence to our engineers and preconstruction teams. Her contributions encompassed both admin and moral support, always handled with her trademark smile, infectious positivity, and composed efficiency.
Over the years, Elaine has witnessed and helped navigate the many changes Bower Fuller has gone through as it has grown, from evolving teams to multiple office transformations. Through it all, she remained a grounding force, keeping everyone in line with the charm and authority of a much-loved “deputy head girl.”
We all thank Elaine for her outstanding service and friendship. We wish her and husband Doug all the very best as they embark on their next chapter – may it be filled with happiness, good health, and plenty of new adventures!
