Careers in Construction

It was great to attend a recent T-level breakfast session arranged by Suffolk New College. The event involved various breakout group activities and provided a forum for students to network and learn from local construction industry professionals about exciting career opportunities in the built environment. Following our participation we have been able to offer work experience initiatives to help students attain the requisite 350 hours target required for the T-level.

Currently we have one student with us for a few weeks and we have two more joining us during June and July. Elsewhere, we are assisting our client Morgan Sindall with their in-house work experience week in July, when 12 students will be going through the planning of a small construction project. Each student will learn about the various disciplines of a construction project and then be asked to become part of the construction team including one lucky prospective Building Services Engineer.

We are also currently interviewing for this year’s intake of management trainees and apprentices, so it is not too late to make that application for a career in construction. Please see the careers section of our website and submit your application today if you fancy a challenging yet rewarding career in our fantastic industry.
