Beth’s Grammar School, New Teaching Block

We are working with Hutton Construction on a new build three storey teaching block at Beths Grammar in Bexley, SE London to accommodate the growing intake of students at this well-respected school. Beths is an all-boys secondary up to the age of 16 as well as a mixed sixth form. They have over 1700 pupils with nearly 800 attending sixth form. The new facilities provide fourteen classrooms, toilets, a common room and servery. The school was founded in 1945 as Erith Technical School and in 1961 following a move to its current location, it became Bexley/Erith Technical High School, hence the name BETHS. Notable former pupils include Steve Backley, the former Olympic javelin gold medallist, and more recently, Samuel Edozie who plays for Southampton FC.
