As part of our mechanical and electrical refurbishment project for the Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) at Addenbrookes Hospital, we needed to lift the major air handling plant and equipment onto a section of the roof during the weekend. As shown in the photos, the roof area is surrounded by other structures, so we required the use of a 72-tonne crane with a reach of approximately 75 meters. A big thank you to everyone involved for making it happen – it was a long day, but everything went smoothly with no hitches.
