Alderman House takes its next delivery on Liverpool Street

Following an initial period of enabling and an extensive archaeological dig, we have recently delivered the main air handling unit and main switch panels for this 7 floor new build office development that is retaining its original facade. The poured concrete structure is only up to first floor level with another 6 levels to go, but now was the right time to install the air handling unit that sits on that floor. In close coordination with Main Contractor ISG and their site team, the AHU was lifted on to the first floor level before craning over a custom built plywood box to provide protection whilst the remaining floors are built over. We also took the time to lift the mains panel into place by dropping it down the lift shaft to basement level in readiness for the first fix stage. The main panel was specifically designed with this lift in mind and was manufactured with only 50mm tolerance to the structure. This is one of 3 lifts that will be carried out with ISG using the same principle. The main installation work at Alderman House is expected to get underway this month.
