Cakes, biscuits and other fine savouries were the flavour of the day in support of Comic Relief. Some home baking from a dedicated few resulted in a veritable feast of gluttony, although it has to be said that the tomato sauce and mustard flavoured cakes certainly were an acquired taste! All home baking went under the hammer to raise an impressive sum of £340.
