A new build 3 storey flagship building formed the first phase of the redevelopment.

Within the 5360m2 floor area, facilities include 35 class bases, 3 IT rooms, 2 conference rooms and music room. Community facilities comprising a fitness suite and learning resource centre are also included.

Full mechanical and electrical services include underfloor heating, lighting, power and domestic water services.  To control access to the community facilities, a comprehensive card access system is installed, supported by a CCTV installation of over 30 cameras.

The works included a new stand alone youth centre, together with the replacement of the existing HV / LV switchgear.
